IMG_0857.jpg

This project offers support for women who have experienced Sexual Exploitation. A group is available in Rotherham every week (term time only). These group will offer women the opportunity to identify what her personal barriers are and to find ways which will support and enable her to address them.

All women will be offered a minimum of two initial one to one sessions before moving into the support group.

The one to one sessions with a Project worker will take place either at home, place of safety or at GROW and will include the introduction of the project and to find out more about the woman, ascertain what is happening for her currently, identify barriers and what and how she wants/needs to do about them, produce a support plan, complete the wellbeing survey and advocacy support and review progress.

The support group will provide a safe space to explore experiences, thoughts and feelings, and aspirations, aim to build confidence and self-esteem, provide activities which support self-reflection and awareness and that will support emotional wellbeing and build resilience, solution focused work to provide practical guidance and support, and support attendance at the support group.
